Summer classes for high school students
Skidmore's Summer Pre-College Program is a credit-bearing experience for high school students interested in exploring what they could be, study, and do in college. You'll be introduced to an authentic college experience – real classes, real credits, real residential life – with a support system that recognizes you're only just getting started.
Let's get Started
We welcome high-achieving, mature, and motivated high school students who share a common interest in preparing for college success. Prospective high school students from the US who meet the following requirements are eligible to apply: Residential students must be rising high school juniors or seniors and 16 or 17 years of age by the Pre-College Program start date. Students who will be 18 years of age prior to or at any time during the Pre-College Program are not eligible to participate in the program. Commuting students must be rising high school sophomores, juniors, or seniors and 15-18 years of age by the Pre-College Program start date.
Non-matriculated international students are prohibited from enrolling in Skidmore summer courses.
